Our staff is committed to providing your children the best programs around!  Our office staff and instructors come from a variety of backgrounds- some former gymnasts, some with business or teaching degrees, and some who just LOVE children!

Below are just a few of the friendly faces you can expect to see here at Lakes!

Diane Biedrzycki - President of Lakes Area Gymnastics, Inc.  Diane has been the owner of the gym since 1984, taking over the business from her former gymnastics coach, following a successful competitive career.  She still coaches in the gym, mostly with the Advanced levels and High School girls, and absolutely loves everything about running a business based on kids!  Diane is a professional member of USA Gymnastics, US Elite Coaches Association, Safety and KAT certified.   Diane and her husband, Brian, who owns Lakes Area Marine in Burlington, have three children, Alyssa, Taylor, and Carson.

Front office - Heidi Bergstedt, our Office Manager, and her staff are always ready to help you! They handle all registrations, mailings, phone calls and payments, as well as keep the kids’ birthdays posted, and make all our certificates!  One of the best parts of the receptionists’ jobs is the daily contact with the kids and parents!

Corinne Olson -   Corinne came to Lakes Area in 2003 after an extensive background in teaching as well as gymnastics. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary and Secondary education, with a Health education minor from UW-Oshkosh.  Corinne spent several years in the school system, coaching high school gymnastics teams while teaching! She then was the Preschool program Director and gym manager for Go For It Gymnastics in Las Vegas, before returning to the Burlington area to be near family! Corinne is currently the Special Events Director at Lakes Area Gym, in charge of our very popular Parents Night Out and Sleepovers!  She is Safety certified and Kinder Accredited.  Corinne’s greatest reward is seeing the kids’ smiling faces and bright eyes!  Her goal for the students of Lakes Area is to be the best within themselves!

Jenny Barry - Jenny began her teaching at Lakes Area Gym in 1994, returning to the place she learned her gymnastics as a child!  After several years as a competitive gymnast, both for Lakes Area and Burlington High School, Jenny got her finance degree from UW Madison and was a manager for Enterprise Rental.  Her love for kids and desire to have a healthy impact on them led her back to us!  Jenny is the Recreational Program Director.  She is Kinder Accredited and Safety Certified.  Jenny likes to run to keep fit! She and her husband Brian have two girls- Aleigha and Ashlyn.

Melissa Crowbridge - Melissa, like many of our staff, was involved with the sport of gymnastics at a young age. She not only spent several years in gymnastics and tumbling & trampoline classes, but she also has a strong dance background. Melissa graduated from Waterford High School where she performed with the Poms team for three years. In addition to teaching at Lakes Area Gymnastics, Melissa is currently pursuing her real estate license. Melissa loves working with the students and seeing the smiles on their faces when they come to class! Melissa is also Safety Certified by USA Gymnastics.

Jennifer Anderson - Jennifer has been active in the sport of gymnastics for the past 20 years! First, as a gymnast of nearly 10 years and then, beginning at the age of 18, as a coach. Jennifer has trained and coached in both competitive and recreational gymnastics programs and brings a great deal of experience to the gym! Her favorite part of teaching at Lakes Area is having the chance to meet great kids and watch them progress from skill to skill. Jennifer and her husband, Mark, live in Union Grove with their two sons, Cole and Mason, and daughter Lana. We are pleased to have had Jennifer on our staff since 2000!

Lindsay Grant - Lindsay joined the staff of Lakes Area Gymnastics in 2004 following her involvement with the Burlington, Badger, Wilmot combined High School gymnastics team. Lindsay is the head coach of the BBW team and, also, instructs our High School gymnasts in the off-season. A gymnast of ten years herself and instructor of five years, Lindsay brings expertise and motivation to the gym! She loves working with the gymnasts and says her favorite part of the job is seeing them master new skills. In addition to her work with Lakes Area, Lindsay is a phy-ed. teacher at Burlington High School and also runs a number of summer camps through the Burlington Community Education Department.

Jessa Forster - Jessa, a former Lakes Area advanced student for 5 years, has been on the teaching staff for three. Jessa mainly teaches Levels 1-8, but occasionally can be found with a preschool class or two! She is also on the Open Gym staff, as well as being a Birthday Party Director on weekends. When she's not at the gym, Jessa loves to hike and has a passion for photography. Her favorite part of teaching gymnastics is that the kids come in so full of energy and she can pass along her love for the sport!

Gina Bedessem - Gina joined the preschool staff at Lakes Area, and brings an extensive background in early childhood education, including working in Burlington area schools as a teacher's aide. In her spare time, Gina enjoys playing softball and volleyball, as well as coaching volleyball and peewee basketball! Gina loves to be outside and sing karaoke with her three daughters, Lisa, Sara and Kaelyn, and her husband Brian at their home in Burlington.
